The first process of this project was to strip out the old worn out rubber lining from the vessel. Once we had removed the old liner we shot blasted to remove any contamination and the old paint from the external surfaces.
The vessel was then attached to a rotary table within an extraction controlled area. We were then ready to begin the spray lining using a hard wearing tough polyurethane.
Using our in house developed spray machines we are able to build up the lining to a desired thickness of 4mm with a very smooth surface finish. The thickness of coating is dictated by the use of the vessel.
Once the spray lining has been completed we then paint the external surface to the customers colour choice.
