This post describes a project where hoppers required a 4 mm thick red polyurethane coating.
The material chosen is 82 shore A polyester which provides a smooth finish.
The hoppers are designed to carry transport media and the poly coating is used as to promote easy feeding of parts and also adds a level of noise reduction.
